1979 – 1980
Esordio con il primo articolo pubblicato nella sezione sportiva del quotidiano La Sicilia.
Nello stesso anno conduce il suo primo spettacolo al Teatro Don Bosco di Catania.
1981 – 1989
Alterna l’attività di giornalista della carta stampata a quella di conduttore tv. Nel dicembre 1981 manda in onda il suo primo servizio televisivo per Antenna Sicilia, presenta vari spettacoli, conduce i Telegiornali e realizza le telecronache di eventi live.
1994 – 2015
Conduttore su Antenna Sicilia e anche su varie emittenti satellitari e su Sky del programma “Insieme”, in assoluto la trasmissione più seguita fra tutte quelle proposte dalle televisioni private italiane, con ascolti che in Sicilia hanno superato quelli delle emittenti nazionali.
2002 – 2003
Collabora a diverse trasmissioni Rai e Mediaset e conduce i collegamenti esterni per due edizioni Festival di Sanremo su Rai Uno.
Collabora con Pippo Baudo alle trasmissioni Novecento e Passo Doppio.
Collabora con Milly Carlucci al Premio Regia Televisiva e con Rai Due conduce Destinazione Sanremo.
2009 – 2010
Presenta su Antenna Sicilia due edizioni del Festival della nuova canzone siciliana, trasmissione storicamente condotta da Pippo Baudo.
Nel 2010 è stato insignito dal Presidente della Repubblica del titolo di Cavaliere al merito della Repubblica per la sua prestigiosa attività professionale.
2016 – 2018
Conduce con la produzione di Francesco Grasso per Media Manager il programma “Meraviglioso” in diffusione regionale e nazionale.
2018
Diventa direttore artistico delle emittenti televisive TGS ed RTP e di quelle radiofoniche Rgs e Antenna dello Stretto, che fanno parte del gruppo editoriale SES Gazzetta del Sud – Giornale di Sicilia.
